Polishing is not a layer that hides defects. It refines the clear-coat surface to reduce marks that are compatible with its thickness and condition. Inspection therefore comes before any major correction decision.
| Level | Objective | Suitable condition | Duration | Price | Ceramic protection |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gloss Polishing | Reduce holograms and light defects in one step | Dull paint and light wash marks | 1 to 1.5 days | from €250 | Compatible (+€500) |
| Full Correction | Reduce more recoverable defects without compromising the clear coat | Pronounced swirls, holograms and numerous defects | usually 3 to 4 days | from €800 | Compatible (+€500) |
| Prestige Finish | Treat a complex case to a level agreed after diagnosis | Collection car, performance car or complex paint | after diagnosis | by quotation | Subject to diagnosis |
Prestige Finish: collection car, performance car, complex paint or event preparation — timing and price are confirmed only after diagnosis and quotation.
Removing every defect is neither always possible nor desirable. ISA aims for the best reasonable result without unnecessarily compromising the clear coat. Published prices assume the stated size and condition; if inspection reveals significantly different, repainted or fragile paint, any revised scope and price are agreed before work continues.
